• Question: do dogs have blood groups like human beings ?

      Yes they do. Their blood has other smaller pieces that identify them with the rest of the dogs. These smaller pieces are very different from the ones in our blood. So I can’t donate my blood to a dog, it will die because my smaller pieces called antigens are not the same. But dogs can donate blood to each other.
