0 Question: Explain why the clouds sometimes are white or grey in color? Keywords: cloud, colour Asked by abgb247 to George on 18 Jan 2017.
George Githinji answered on 18 Jan 2017:
This has to do with how much rain water they have. Thick dense clouds will obstruct light and they appear grey. The clouds that a thinner and with less water, appear white.
Charles commented on 26 Jan 2017:
As George said, it’s mainly dependant on the amount of water in the clouds.
