• Question: how can I understand that there is really an application for the sciences that I have been learning in school, and if so how can I identify them especially in physics?

the sciences we learn form the basis for alot of the things we have in real life.
      some examples are
levers are used in many posho mills to turn the machine that grind flour
sound and music are transmitted along the airwaves
what forces keep a bicycle from falling (balance), how gears make the bicycle efficient by the multiplication of the gears ratios.
look at common examples in your school and try to see how science is all around you.
